My feed of happy little weddings can hold 🖤 I have hope in seeing more change 🖤 There’s no excuse, things have not been ok, and we’re way overdue 🖤 Black Lives Matter 🖤 I’ve seen and heard incredible and inspiring movements, though it’s heart breaking 💔 that it took the life of George Floyd to get us here. So overdue! I’m sorry, the injustices, disparities, racism, neglect, brutality and disrespect needs to change. It’s way more than equal rights 🖤 I’m committed to doing more! Seeing some of the confederate monuments defaced and go down is a start 🖤We have a long way to go and I hope we can inspire the world, slavery still exists, racism is everywhere, white privilege is real. He’s from B.C. she’s from Florida, they met on the top of a summit in Zion National Park while they were both on solo trips. Brandon offered to take Nikki’s picture in leu of her just getting a selfie.⠀ ⛰⠀ They hiked down the trail together and from there began their 2 year long distance relationship.⠀ Brandon and Nikki decided to reshape their original wedding plans and they chose Tahoe to elope and honeymoon all in one.⠀ 💙⠀ Monique with @tahoeweddingphotography and I helped guide their plans as they have never visited Tahoe before. They stayed at the cute and luxurious @cedarcrest, had a first look at Mt. Rose Summit Meadows and I officiated their ceremony down a hike on the East Shore of Tahoe. It was a bit of a tour on their wedding day and so enjoyable to show off my home while we were treated with an early taste of summer.⠀ 🥂⠀ It’s always so fun for me to see my couples experience the sights for their first time. They couldn’t get over the vastness of the size of Tahoe, something that is difficult to see in a pic, it’s more of a feeling.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Photographer @tahoeweddingphotography ⠀ Florals @enchantedfloristlaketahoe

Leap Day 2020 Ceremony at High Camp

January 31, 2020

Leap of Love at 8,200 feet

I am so excited to participate with Squaw Valley’s Leap of Love Event on February 29th, 2020. Below is information shared from Squaw Valley’s website, and please click on the link to learn more about the details and registration. I can’t wait to meet the adventurous couples who have already signed up, there is still room for a few more to register.

It is such a dramatic and stunning experience to arrive by tram to marry at High Camp. The pictures shared are from Alyssa and Adam’s High Camp wedding last Spring, with Stephanie Russo Photography. The panoramic views are so beautiful with Tahoe to the East and I always love the contrast of formal wear a snowy natural setting. A pre wedding photoshoot in the valley offers more beautiful landscape too.

February 29th, 2020 get married or renew your vows at High Camp!

Leap of Love is for couples ready to get married or those wanting to renew their vows on our iconic High Camp Upper Deck at 8200’, with a light reception to follow in our newly renovated Terrace Room that offers panoramic views of The Sierras and Lake Tahoe. This collective elopement event is a shared wedding ceremony experience where all couples will be participating in one united, non-denominational ceremony and will last approximately 30 minutes. At the conclusion of the ceremony, we invite all couples to participate in a Leap of Love photoshoot before they and their guests are invited to a celebration reception that will include light appetizers, wedding cake, sparkling wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. The reception will conclude at 2:00 pm when all couples will be encouraged to group ski and snowboard down to the village to continue celebrating.
